In Syria, Nehad worked for many years as a university lecturer, project manager for large budget projects and education expert. During the war he served as mayor of a town on the Lebanese border. He has a degree in mechanical engineering (M.Sc.) and has more than twenty years of international professional experience.
As a project manager in Syria he was the head of curriculum development for the Delegation of the European Commission and the State Planning Commission. He was also responsible for managing all project activities, workshops, conferences, etc.
In Germany he first worked as a volunteer and then as a project manager at Refugee Voices Tours in Berlin. He takes care of the coordination of educational trips and educational workshops, development and implementation of educational workshops, volunteer training and refugee simulation.
