‘A Journey Through the Refugee Rights Movement’

There is an expression that says you can’t judge someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes. During this tour you will have the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the people involved in the refugee rights movement in Berlin and follow the journey that a refugee from Sudan has taken whilst fighting for his rights in Germany.

The tour will follow the route from the formerly occupied Oranienplatz, where the refugee rights movement began in Berlin in 2012 and take you through Kreuzberg, ending at the occupied Gerhard-Hauptmann-Schule.
This is your chance to get to know someone with a refugee status and understand the challenges they have faced, and continue to face, as people claiming asylum in Germany.

When: This tour is on private request only. Please contact us for more details.
